Blurb: Five years ago, Miles Weller’s life changed forever. He told his parents he was gay, and instead of getting support, he got kicked out of his house. Miles turned to his Uncle Steven for help, and soon began living and working at his uncle’s LGBT campground, The Acres. Since that time, Miles got on with his life and attained a college degree, with Steven supporting him every step of the way. Now, a new job and his own apartment await Miles at the end of the summer. The only thing missing is a love life, but Miles plans to rectify that during his last days working at The Acres.

Miles thinks he’s looking only for a fling, but instead finds Elliot Donovan, his old crush from high school, standing by the bonfire one night. It soon becomes clear that old feelings between the men are very much alive, and Miles finds himself falling for Elliot. But a secret Elliot is keeping threatens to end things before they really get started.

Can Miles get beyond his rocky and complicated history and fully embrace his future? Or will he let his past hurts keep him from ever really moving on?

Review: Miles Weller is a recent college graduate that is about to move into his first apartment and start a new job. Just a few short years ago, he wasn’t sure he would ever accomplish this goal. When he came out to his parents, his father told him he was no longer welcome in their home, while his mother sat by silently and watched her still teenage son leave with possibly nowhere to go. Thankfully, Mile’s Uncle Steven took him in, supported him and helped him get through college.

The one thing Miles wants in his life is love. A summer fling with one of the guests at The Acres will have to do for now though, or at least that is what Miles thinks. That is until his high school crush, Elliot Donovan, walks back into his life. They take it slow and get to know each other again during late night walks, talks and heavy make out sessions. When Elliot can’t make it out to The Acres one weekend, Miles heads to his house to surprise him. What he finds stops him cold and threatens their newly formed relationship.

I read another book in this series a while back, Summer of Love, and I wasn’t impressed. I almost didn’t pick this one up for review, but I have to say, I’m so happy that I did. While the characters in Love didn’t seem to fit, in my opinion, Miles and Elliot fit like a glove. My biggest complaint with Love was the lack of communication between the ML, in this story there isn’t a lack of communication it’s the fact that Miles takes a notion and runs with it, without having all the facts.

There was a definite chemistry between Miles and Elliot that was evident and well conveyed. I loved the romance of this story and I recommend it for sure.

Blurb: Paul and Gordon aren’t your typical zombie hunters. They’re a loving couple of educators who might be infected by the virus that is turning the world’s population into mindless, undead eating machines. So why haven`t they turned?

Well, Gordon has a theory about that. He suspects that those who march under the rainbow flag just might be carrying the cure for the plague in their bloodstream. Zendra, the massive pharmaceutical company where the mutated virus was made, certainly seems to be in a hurry to round-up all the gay survivors they can grab.

To avoid the clutches of Zendra, Paul, his partner Gordon, and a ragtag band of survivors head into the Great White North – the land of maple syrup, hockey, lumberjacks, and thick bacon. Here they plan to spend the winter, hopefully safe from roaming bands of undead, militaristic companies with far too much power, seedy groups of other survivors, and the always dreaded moose.

Can two guys in love lead a motley crew to safety?

Review: This is the third book in this series you do need to read them in order to really get the full impact of what’s going on.

Paul and Gordon are back with their merry band of survivors on a journey into Canada. They encounter many obstacles and phobies (Zombies) along the way.

Life in the Apocalypse can be hard for Paul and Gordon, humble educators with the American dream to marry and adopt a child and live a normal life. Well as normal as two gay men could. Perhaps fate has a funny way of fulfilling dreams as they embark on their journey to find a safe place and perhaps a cure for the outbreak.

This story is so funny! I laughed until I cried. There are lots of mayhem and gore for those that like that and lots of sweet moments for us romantics. It’s full of action and plot twists and the humor helps pull the bleakness altogether. I absolutely loved this story and can’t wait to see the outcome in #4!

If you like, teachers, Zombies, twists, humorous, sweet romance, and some fairly hot mansex this is for you!

Review: Twenty six-year-old Billy Conway was murdered and the killer never caught, had worked at Ludwig Publishing House as a junior editor. He is slightly upset when the janitor removes his name from the door to what was once his office. Alex Brunette is the new junior editor taking over Billy’s office and he’s not happy about that.

Billy’s job now is to explain to the spirits in Limbo what is happening and the rules. He can see the last moments of their deaths as well. Limbo is a place where spirits go whose lives were severed before their time. They can’t go anywhere until their killers are brought there or confess their crimes.

Billy meets Dark, Terrance Woodrow, a young man who sees the dead at a restaurant he goes to with Alex. Dark tells Alex he has someone with him though Alex doesn’t believe him. Alex ends up believing him when his best friend disappears and Terrance tells him that Billy thinks it’s the same man who killed him that has Wes. While helping Alex find Wes before it’s too late, Terrance and Alex fall for each other.

Amazing story that left me speechless after I read the last sentence. The descriptions of the things that Terrance saw through the connection to the killer were horrifying and intense. Billy was a big help to Terrance all throughout the story after they met. Filled with intense situations and a need to stop a killer from killing again for good.

I was glad after everything Terrance and Alex went through that Alex refused to let Terrance go and that Billy was finally able to move on. I found the author’s take on what ghosts or spirits may possibly go through in Limbo and how they can move on fascinating.

The intimate scenes between Alex and Terrance were hot. Absolutely loved this book.

Eric’s Review: ♥♥♥♥♥5 Hearts

This novel was top of the line awesome. I have never read an Allison Cassatta novels before but I know I will be reading much more of them. The more I read into this novel, the more amazed and intrigued I had become with the novel.

Dorian is being arrested for murder, Lance takes on the world once more, Davi is working as a dancer at Sin and Seduction’s stage, and Jason as well as Brad are suffering through hard times. The characters stand strong no matter what and they show just how hard life can be. Over all the story is an amazing, fast paced, intriguing one but it is recommended that you read the series in order as this is book three and the final book.

The characters of Davi, Lance, Dorian, Jason and Brad are truly intriguing and powerful characters. The author certainly knows how to make great characters and have them shine through with realistic situations. It is a powerful, seductive, intriguing read that will make the readers want to go after more of her books. The way this book handles all the characters and shows just how fast and hard life can be, the author shows an extraordinary sense of understanding through real events and powerful means.

Overall, this novel is amazing and well worth read. I found myself wanting to get the first two books after reading this one. This is a novel I won’t soon forget.

Lisa’s Review:  ♥♥♥♥♥5 Hearts

This is book three in this series and they should be read in order. Each character is represented in the previous books, but each book focuses on a new romantic couple but about the others as well.

I have never read a book that has this much heat, what with sex, danger, excitement, lots of action and so much more. The way the dancers move is erotic, the criminal activities are steaming hot and the love each couple have for one another is full of passion and fire. Although they do have the problems that others have, they seem to have just a bit more.

Sin & Seduction is possibly closing for good due to the criminals that show up there, the bust from the police and the fact that one of the investors just wants out. Now it is up to Jason to figure out how they are going to make that happen. Not to mention his own personal life is a bit out there. He is madly in love with Brad but he still wonders if maybe he is still in love with Jansen. Is he ready to commit completely to the man he loves. They are getting rather domesticated what with raising Brad’s daughter, but he wonders if that love really exist or if it is a myth.

Dorian is arrested for murdering the man who had shot his husband. Although Jansen knows Dorian didn’t do it, the courts wouldn’t let him out of prison. He was supposed to wait till his hearing. It would take a miracle to get him out, and it is up to Jansen to get his husband released. However, after six months in, will Dorian be the same as when he went in or will he be hardened when he gets out?

Lance is one of the hottest dancers known but he is also known for not having relationships. Then why is he starting to feel something for Davi. Davi is scared that when the club closes that he will have to go back, that is until he realizes that his family does not want him either. Lance is pulled to Davi more than he possibly can understand or know. Does he have it in him to make both of their dreams real?

Can they keep the club opened with all of their help or will it go down in flames. This was a fascinating story, but to be truthful Allison always comes up with some very hot stories for you to sink your teeth into. The characters are beautifully written with the same desires, passion, angst, attitude as the author has. They will have you falling in love with them, turned on by them, and wanting to fight besides them.

I would recommend reading this if you are all about sexy men, gorgeous dancers, excitement, adventure, action, suspense, a bit of mystery, hot sex, criminal minds and so much more. You will fall in love with these series and want to keep on reading. This story caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. It gave me everything I could ask for in a story and oh so much more.

Blurb: Perry Jameson begins his new job as a ranch manager at the Wright Stables with the goal of returning the place to its original glory. He throws all of his effort into building a home and establishing a career. Being seduced by the ranch owner’s grandson could throw a serious wrench in the works.

Cory Matthews is a world champion in horse reining. Well known for his arrogance and talent, he can train any horse to win, and he knows he’s turned the sexy older hunk’s head, but he can’t seem to get Perry come around.

The two men butt heads on more than one occasion, the way two stubborn, proud studs will do. Maybe looking past their differences to work together will give them a new perspective on each other. Maybe, just maybe, it’ll help Cory rein Perry in.

Review: Perry is starting over at a new ranch and has a no dating the help or family rule after losing his last job. He wants to work up and save money to buy into his own ranch someday.

Cory is an arrogant rodeo competitor and the grandson to Perry’s new boss Garrett. He feels the attraction between him and Perry is used to getting what he wants and plans to do what it takes to rein him in.

I really liked this story. It did feel, at first, as if it may have been a sequel to another book and I would have loved to have read that about Perry and his past. However, there is enough back-story dropped throughout this book that it’s easy to follow. I loved the contrast between Cory and Perry. I liked that the romance wasn’t easy earned. I guess there isn’t much I didn’t like about the book. The characters are great the storyline sweet and the sex not overdone and when we get it its hot!

If you like cowboys, rodeo competitors, horses, opposites attract and some hot romance this is for you.

Going Home by Kris Ripper

Going Home by Kris Ripper brings up a very touchy subject. It is an eye opening look at slavery and what it means to the people’s lives it touches. It is a tastefully written account of what happens when master and slave become so much more to each other.

Blurb: When sexual slavery is outlawed, most of the rational world rejoices. Another shameful chapter of history, tucked neatly away.
Rory doesn’t want to rain on anyone’s parade, but the thing he wants most in the world is impossible: to go home, to his master, where he was safe. Life without slavery isn’t worth living. He dodges out of the “Freedom Project” with his new friend Demon, and vows to find his master, whatever it takes. He only hopes that once he does, life will go back to normal.

Geo Fairbanks doesn’t even tell people he used to own a slave. And the people who know? Think he’s deluded. “The kid was a slave, Geo. He wasn’t your boyfriend.” He switched careers, moved to a new town, and cut ties with everyone, but none of it helps. He needs Rory. When it looks like there might be a way to find him, Geo does whatever it takes.

Once they’re reunited, everything should be perfect. Shouldn’t it? Then why does Rory have more questions than answers? His friends are done with slavery, over it, moving on, but part of him? Part of him misses kneeling at Master’s feet. A very specific part of him misses being tied to Master’s bed. It would be one thing if Geo would just take over, as he did in the old days, but Geo’s just as clueless as Rory about how to live with each other as equal men.

Then the unthinkable happens and Geo finds himself searching for Rory all over again. Can he find Rory before he disappears into the new black market for slaves? And if he does, will they ever figure out how to be in a relationship not dictated by legal contracts dictating exactly what they mean to each other?

Review: Let me start out by saying that I am not usually impressed by free M/M kindle books that I find on Amazon. However, I knew from the first chapter that this book was something special. There are engaging characters, a well thought out society, unique secondary characters, and no grammatical errors (at least none that jumped out at me!). The author takes a deeper look at slavery in all its assorted forms. It touches on slavery in a BDSM world, slavery as another word for abuse, and slavery where each person involved is content…or at least thinks they are.

Rory was raised from birth knowing he was destined for slavery. His family is part of the ‘legacy slave’ program and they take great honor in serving a master. He is sent to live with Geo at the age of 16 and quickly makes himself indispensable. After 2 years of fighting attraction for one another, Geo finally takes Rory to bed. Geo takes his master role very seriously, even in the bedroom and it just so happens that Rory loves playing the slave in bed, as well as in the kitchen.

The story actually starts after Geo and Rory have been forcibly separated from each other. Slavery has been outlawed and even though they both fought viciously to stay together, the law makes it impossible. We follow Rory’s journey from the slave re-education camps to the outside world and finally through his hunt for his former master. He wants nothing more than to be with Geo again. However, he is torn between his need to submit physically to his master and his need to become a free man.

Geo is equally miserable without Rory and through a good friend is able to track him down and bring him home. However, home is a very different place than it used to be and Geo wonders how much of he and Rory’s relationship was only in his imagination. Did Rory serve him because he had no choice or because it was something he truly wanted?

Going Home is an extraordinary story that really makes the reader think about more than just the words on the page. The characters feel deeply for one another but are also flawed in their own ways. They struggle to find a balance between what THEY want and what society and friends tell them they SHOULD want. They make mistakes and then they talk about them.

There is just enough drama to make the book exciting without being overdone. The book is mild in terms of their physical relationship. This is not a book for people looking for hard-core and frequent BDSM sex. It is about the relationship, the characters, and their growth, with just a touch of heat thrown in to keep you on your toes.

I highly recommend Going Home if you are looking for a thought-provoking M/M book and don’t let the ‘free’ price tag fool you!

Blurb: Years after losing her husband, Kerri Johnston is surprised to find love again with the two men she never knew were there all along.

Two years ago, when Kerri Johnston buried her husband Caleb after a tragic car accident, his best friends Kyle and Jacob came to her rescue. Taking her back to their ranch with them, they gave her a fresh start and a friendship she desperately needed. But after her grief fades, Kerri realizes her feelings for her two friends have changed and friendship isn’t enough.

While Kerri knows that Jacob and Kyle play with women occasionally, she also knows that she could never live with being only a temporary fling to them. When Kerri makes the decision to leave because watching them from the outside is becoming too painful, she gets a surprise second chance at love. That is, if three people can work through the obstacles and misunderstandings that come with it…

Reader Advisory: This book contains M/M scenes, anal sex and sex toys. It also includes a scene of attempted rape and a mention of sexual abuse.

Review: This story begins with Kerri and is two years after her husband’s death. She has gone to stay with his two gay best friends. Now she is thinking of leaving because she wants to be more than friends. She has been waiting for them to offer her more since she knows they both like women and have had women in their beds but only as short stays. She wants more than that.

This is a good story but I felt like I took up in the middle. I really feel like there should be another book I am missing but I couldn’t find it. There is adequate backstory but it still left me feeling in the middle of a story. Having said that, the story starts out slow, but gets more interesting as you go. So hang in there. It is worth finishing. There are a few surprising twists and a very satisfying ending. I will say one thing I really liked is that the ménage isn’t perfect. There is jealousy, and work at making it work. All the characters get enough attention and the focus isn’t just on the woman.

If you like MMF ménage, twists, cowboys, and hot sex this is for you.

Enter Elijah Kane, an efficient and shadowy omega assassin on the run from the CIA. When Rowan is tasked with hunting down Kane, he ends up at the mercy of a wolf with nothing left to lose – a wolf who is sure Rowan is his mate. Elijah Kane is hell bent on proving he’s stronger and smarter than every alpha he meets – including the alpha CIA agent sent to kill him.

But Rowan lights a fire of lust that Elijah can’t ignore. They share a rare connection – a mate connection – and he’s not going to give up on Rowan until the man sees it too. Trapped in a snowy wilderness and besieged by hunters, desire sizzles between Elijah and Rowan.

Can they overcome their differences, and their pasts, and forge a bond to save their future?

Review: This is the first book to this amazing series and I got to tell you it rocked. You need to start with this one because it will tell you how Elijah and Rowan met, why they were trying to kill each other, and why they ended up loving one another. Elijah was an assassin and a wolf, he was as deadly as anyone could be and the surprise was he is an omega. Rowan is a CIA agent and also a wolf, but he is an alpha. Now in many stories it is told that omegas are weak, small and not worth much. However, you will see that Elijah is not any of that.

Elijah had been sent to kill one man, but what he had not expected was a certain werewolf CIA agent to be there. Granted he got his kill, but for some reason he is attracted to the alpha. Alpha’s only lead to pain for his kind and he sure as hell wasn’t going to trust this man. That is until he captures Rowan and ends up saving his ass afterwards.

Rowan was sent by his handler to eliminate Elijah. Elijah had killed his mark, took out his partner, broken an innocent woman’s arms and turned him on. The problem was Elijah was not what he thought, nor did he ever want to be with a man. So why had fate given him a male mate? One that was as deadly as they all get out. Now he not only wanted to kick his ass, but he wanted to kiss it too. Although they had more problems than just their attraction and mating. They were in a country that was full of hunters and wolves were hated.

They kept getting attacked then they were captured by another wolf who was considered king. He wanted them to kill the man who Elijah had left him with to be tortured. Now they had to come to a decision that would more than likely get them killed.

This was one hell of a good read and I was quite surprised by it. It showed to me what the author herself was feeling when she wrote it. It was amazing and I absolutely loved this series. There was so much feeling from both of these men that you could feel it yourself. How it seemed they hated each other, but you could also tell how Rowan was confused and conflicted. I love how when they put their difference away they seemed to just mix. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end. However, it left me hanging which means I can’t wait to get started on book two.

I would recommend reading this book especially if you love hot alphas, sexy omegas, bad attitudes, murder, challenges, excitement, danger, and hot sex. It gave me that and way more than I could have expected. I love the way the story just seemed to flow with every page.

Blurb: Hunters have taken everything from Devon Carsten. First, they murdered his parents, and now they’ve taken his brother. With no other options left, Devon decides an eye for an eye, or in this case a brother for a son, is the best course of action, and he takes the son of the man who kidnapped his brother. But his plan blows up in his face when he realizes the man in question is his mate.

Aiden Stefano never imagined a weekend at home would start off with him being kidnapped by men claiming to be werewolves or that he would fall for one. Now he must find a way to convince Devon what they share is worth fighting for and prove to his father that wolves aren’t the monsters he believes them to be. Shouldn’t be too hard, right?

Aiden is the only thing Devon has to bargain with, but can he give up his mate to save his brother?

Review: Aiden is an innocent in the fight going on between werewolves and hunters. His father never told him about the organization he was involved in. So when he is kidnapped as a bargaining chip to get back Devon’s younger brother, it all comes as a shock. But the attraction to Devon is too much to ignore. So he gives in to it, even knowing it may not be able to go any farther than a night or two.

Devon has had his whole life turned around by the hunters. First, they killed his parents, and then they kidnapped his young brother. In order to get his brother back he has Aiden kidnapped. Only problem is Aiden turns out to be Devon’s mate, his once in a lifetime mate. But their relationship may be doomed from the start. Devon is a werewolf and Aiden is the son of a hunter.

I liked this start to the series. The relationship between Devon and Aiden is sweet. They both know it may just be for a little time, but they both take and give what they can and hope for a future together later.

The only real thing that I had a problem with was some edits issues that could have been cleaned up some more. Also, things moved a bit fast for me. I would have perhaps liked a little more detail.
But all in all, it has potential to be a good series. I look forward to reading more.

Blurb: Is it possible for a demon to be a good man, or are all who have fallen for temptation evil at the core?

Tristan, Machidiel, and Alastor are bound together by love, but their lives are running far from smooth. Thanks to Tristan’s demonic bargain with an incubus, they have no choice other than to accept that their lives are never going to be the same again.

To fulfill his obligations to the demon Tristan has two choices—remain with the incubus as his trainee or find a mortal to take his place. Neither option is appealing.

The three lovers struggle to release Tristan from his bargain, but find bigger problems on the horizon when a human caught up in the mess is taken prisoner by the Demon King himself.

With no help forthcoming from either angels or demons, the three lovers are on their own with a seemingly impossible mission before them—rescue the mortal from the Underworld.

Mac, meanwhile, has problems of his own. The archangels are voting on whether to ban relationships between angels and demons, and if the new law is passed, he must choose between his wings and his lovers.

The three of them believe their love is strong enough to see them through the hard times ahead, but if they aren’t careful, the repercussions of Tristan’s bargain could tear their ménage apart forever.

Review: This is the 2nd edition and has been polished. The story has no changes to it. This story is part of a series and must be read in order.

Tristan, Machidiel (Mac) and Alastor might love each other, but the repercussions from Tristan becoming an incubus is much more far-reaching than any of them thought. Trying to find a way out of Tristan’s bargain isn’t going well and when Tristan needs help during his training, he pulls an innocent into his problems and leads him to danger. With a dream demon playing games with their dreams and an innocent suffering because of Tristan’s choices, Tristan, Mac, and Alastor have to face their past to move forward. But, it just might tear them apart.

“God damn you, L.M. Brown. You should be devising torture in Hell.” those were my first thoughts when I finished this book, and they were also my second and third thoughts as well…. My fourth thought was ‘where does she live?’, because I want that third book now! Tristan, Mac, and Alastor are moving into a new home, but their happiness is tinged with the awareness of Tristan’s deal with Lawrence. Tristan’s first training session doesn’t go well and the repercussions are far-reaching with their repeated combined lives in the past being revealed and the truth of Alastor’s past being revealed.

This is a great story that will pull you every which way, as you follow the angel, demon and incubus as they try to sort out their problems. Tristan’s actions are what resound throughout this story. Everything he does seems to have devastating consequences. Mac has problems of his own, as Raphael tries to convince him Alastor isn’t worthy of his time. Alastor has his past shown to him, after being plagued by nightmares and the truth of his long forgotten actions affect his relationship.

This is definitely a rollercoaster ride, as you cheer for their love and then doubt their actions. At one point, you want to smack the crap out of Tristan, as he walks away from the mess he makes and you pity Alastor, as he still doubts his place in the relationship. We are given insight into others actions and we are given a very surprising twist. We are also left with the big question of just what Tristan, Alastor, and Mac are going to do now.

I have to recommend this to those who love angels, demons and incubus getting it on, if you adore conflict and arguments, if you love surprising twists at the last-minute and you love cliffhanger endings that leave you panting for more.

But when the school slashes his hours in half and with no other jobs available in town, he stumbles across the opportunity when fiddling around on an online dating site and a rather handsome older gentleman offers him money.

What he thinks will be a onetime thing turns into a booming business at night, and Peter promises himself he’ll only do it long enough just until he gets caught up. He has nothing else going on in his life, after all.

Cornish pastry chef Seb Wright dreads the summer tourist season. The cash injection to his artisan fudge pantry is more than welcome, the extra work, less so. Then one summer, a shadowy Good Samaritan catches his eye. Irish Traveller Dex is bewitching, a beautiful sullen enigma who turns Seb’s world upside down until he disappears in the night, vanishing like a mystical summer rain.

Twelve months later Dex is in the midst of a dark storm. A slave to his master, ‘Uncle’ Braden, he spends his days cleaning caravans and his nights working in Braden’s other businesses. His short summer with Seb seems a lifetime ago. Lost in the savage violence of the murky underworld, he doesn’t dare dream he’ll ever find his way back, until one night, a brutal crime opens the door for a chance escape. A new life beckons, old faces emerge, and immersed in the heady vibe of London’s East End, new love begins to heal his fractured heart.

After experiencing what happens when someone you love walks away and never looks back, Brandon decided love was for fools. Then he spent a summer with Zach. He struggled against feelings that grew every time he and Zach were together, telling himself they were just having a fling. When Zach confessed his love one hot summer night, Brandon panicked. He scoffed at Zach and made sure he walked away first.

Three years later, their paths cross again when Zach becomes the vet at Wild R Farm where Brandon works. Brandon realizes his feelings haven’t changed, but Zach treats Brandon with scorn despite Brandon’s every attempt to show Zach he’s no longer the self-centered man he used to be. When a night out ends with Brandon driving Zach home, confessions are made on both sides, and hope begins to build in Brandon’s heart.

Blurb: Rojan Ja’Dar is a rogue, a pirate that buys and sells cargo for a living. He is his own man, skirting the edge of the law and answering to no one. Arriving on a particular planet, he goes to drop off cargo and discovers a human pet being sold at an auction house. Intrigued, Rojan breaks all his rules and buys the human as his pet. It isn’t until after he purchases the human that Rojan discovers he’s just bought his mate.

Claiming Tyion Rhodes is not as easy as buying him. Not understanding the danger he is in, Tyion fights his situation as a highly prized and sought after pet in Rojan’s world. Rojan has to convince Tyion that being his mate is not as bad as being a pet, even if they have to pretend to the rest of the world that Tyion is just a possession.

That is hard to do when someone is after Tyion, someone not from Earth.

Note: This book was previously published with another publisher and has been extensively revised and expanded.

Review: Rojan sets out to buy pet, and he is drawn to human Tyion as soon as he sees him. But not only is Tyion his new pet, he also Rojan’s new mate. Tyion went to sleep, and woke up being sold as a slave. All he wants is to go home. He is terrified about what is going on. Rojan has his work cut out for him convincing Tyion to accept his new life.

Rojan and Tyion have their misunderstandings at the start. Rojan starts training Tyion as his pet, including punishments. It isn’t until Rojan is asked to look at things from Tyion’s point of view that he really understands what his mate is going through. Once things get cleared up and they mate, they start to accept and understand each other. Tyion’s real personality starts to shine through, and he is a bit of a wise ass.

I read this book back when it was originally published in 2012. I loved it then and that not has not changed. This 2nd edition has some editing and more dialogue. But the overall story and feel did not change. The ending now ties in better for the next book in the series.

It definitely gives a more detailed ending then the first edition. I really enjoyed the additions.

So if you love books with mates, aliens, and tails this one is for you.

Blurb: Werewolf packs traditionally stay aloof from one another, but gossip still spreads like wildfire. Whispers and rumors about Simon and his mate-bonded male lover, and the pack’s experiences with human were-hunters, are still making the rounds.

Aaron, the Alpha of Minneapolis West, would love to see his pack’s fame fade into the past. But the arrival of two strange wolves makes it clear that for some outsiders, his pack is still considered a pariah, or a threat.

For others, it has unwanted appeal.

Purchase Link:

Review: This short happens about 3 months after book two in the series. Things have settled down a little for the pack and seem to be on track. Aaron and Zach are still together but hiding their relationship from most, or trying to. Things are still unsettled among the packs and Aaron does not want to rock the boat anymore more than he has. However, when two men ask for membership in the pack, Aaron may not have a choice.

As Aaron has made a name for himself, and it’s not the best to most pacts. He is the alpha that let the gay mates live, and he has a secret weapon in Zach. Zach and is genius hacking skills are all over the rumor mills. He is helping other packs secure their computers and systems, but other believes he has the secrets on all of them. Of the two men apply to the pack, one is there in good faith, but the other is not.

This brief look into the lives of the pack shows that other packs still consider them a threat. And some Alphas will do anything to eliminate them. A lot happens in this book, and still leaves you waiting for the next shoe to drop. But it also shows that the pack will stick together and fight whatever comes their way.
