Blurb: Hades has no fury than Hera’s wrath…

Ciro is the son of Zeus and the goddess of the Storm Winds. He must stop his crazy, cursed brothers from destroying Earth, but most importantly from destroying the man he loves.

Ciro Pyktis was born with a target on his back, thanks to his father Zeus’ infidelity. Tired of her husband’s man-whoring ways, Hera cursed his latest offspring born outside their marriage to become Shivers. Somehow, Ciro was born a good Shiver, but a few of his brothers are hell bent on destroying him and the humans.

Finally, Ciro finds the man of his dreams and he should be happy, but now, not only does he have to protect all of Earth and Olympus from his brothers, he must also keep Carter Olabasu safe from the evil Ciro knows is coming.

Carter Olabasu has everything—his brother finally accepts his homosexuality, Carter has a thriving architecture business and the freedom to do what he wants when he wants. But he’s lonely. A chance meeting at a nightclub brings him into Ciro’s path. Almost instantly, he’s obsessed by a need that he’s never felt before—one for Ciro.

However, when the world starts falling apart around him, Carter will have to face the fact that his new man isn’t who Carter thinks he is, and there are things that go bump in the night humans can never, ever find out about.

Review: Ciro is the cursed son of a god, condemned to police his own brother’s that would destroy mankind for their own amusement. Ciro and his brethren were cursed at birth by their father’s wife, Hera, known among the gods as Shiver’s, they are wicked strong and control the weather. The oracle foretold of Ciro mating with another man long ago, a Demigod, and Ciro has been patiently awaiting his other half for a very long time. Over eight hundred years to be exact.

Carter Olabasu catches Ciro’s eye from across the bar one night, but Carter’s brother unknowingly interrupts and Ciro flees. The pull to Carter stops Ciro from going too far. And his interest in the human draws the attention of another Shiver. One that will do anything or kill anyone to bring down Ciro, including Carter. Ciro and Carter are drawn to each other like orbiting planets, but the oracle predicted Ciro mating a Demigod, and Carter is human.None the less, Ciro cannot ignore the attraction to his human, or the need to protect him.

The gods are at war, with Ciro and Carter in the middle and things are not what they seem. Hera is sly and vindictive, trying to lure Ciro into her bed all while cursing him and his Shiver brothers. And while Ciro is determined to protect mankind and his lover, can he really kill his own brethren?

Shivers is a new series that shows a different side of some familiar Greek Gods, while adding a few new characters and names to the mix. Ciro may have been cursed at birth by his father’s jilted wife, but it’s his heart and soul that set him apart from the other Shivers. An equal balance of action, suspense, romance and intrigue, Ciro is only the beginning of the journey for this odd couple.

If you are a fan of mythology, then I’ll think you’ll be pleasantly surprised with this sexy new take on the gene pool of Mount Olympus. The connection Ciro and Carter share is electric, and I’m hoping book 2 will delve further into the connection that their brothers seemed to share in this book. Duchene has created a highly imaginative world wrought with sibling rivalry that is only surmounted by the power of the Gods. Creative and sexy, what a fantastic mix, I’m excited to see where the next book in this inventive new series goes.

REVIEW: Just doing strip-o-grams to make some money – a popular starting point to a story. Adam Hyland was hired by Jimmy’s (James Trent) friend, Rene, to perform a private strip for Jimmy’s birthday. After a sizzling night together, Adam gets a job as stripper and bar tender for the club where Jimmy is the silent partner.

Poor Adam has a lot going on in his life – he as a cheating ex, Patrick, who now became his stalker, he’s injured his knee and he’s been living out of his car. Jimmy is a very introverted, shy person and he seems to be happy dealing with and making other people happy rather than thinking of his own happiness. However, he does know that he wants Adam but he is just so awkward about getting to that point. The problem there is, Jimmy is firmly in the closest, but not so stuck there that he proclaims that he likes women, while Adam is out and proud.

This is the first time I’ve read a Kimberly Gardner book and I found it to be an enjoyable story. Overall, throughout the story, it also had my emotions going up and down; usually oscillating between happy and angry, although the ups and downs were a bit exhausting to binge read the entire book.

I liked the plot line, it was good, despite the fact that it sometimes came across clichéd. However, that’s not to say there were things that really managed to annoy me.
There are a number of things that bother me in books, one of those is cheating or sleeping with others assuming that the new relationship isn’t serious enough to merit monogamy.

But on reflection, Adam is too busy pushing Jimmy away, and any possible intimacy, that it can’t be classed as cheating even if Jimmy sees it as a relationship it has no substance at that point. Keeping in mind that Adam broke up with his previous boyfriend for cheating on him, I really, really hoped he had more heart. However, sometimes Adam is selfish, so I don’t blame Jimmy for his over-cautious behaviour, remaining in the closet.

Mind you, Jimmy isn’t really in the closet, he just doesn’t tell anyone he’s gay, big difference. Jimmy doesn’t really seem to care if anyone catches him with Adam in any compromising positions either. To me, Jimmy seems too naive and sometimes Adam pushes Jimmy away just a little too hard for my liking, which lends to Jimmy’s naivety. It just feels like Jimmy is too busy trying to make Adam happy rather than being together and happy together.

Also, I don’t think Stephanie, Jimmy’s niece, was used as much as she could have been. She had no actual part in moving the plot along but she had started out with a lot of potential and probably could have slapped some much needed sense into Adam.

If you like your ‘happily ever afters’ to be certain, you won’t get it here. I’m not entirely sure if they are really a couple or even a good fit (but I hope I get a glimpse of the couple in book 2 to see what’s happening). Despite the fact, half way through they were showing so much brilliant potential as a couple and actually getting together.

At one point where Adam is observing another couple being “cozy” he feels jealous and I was yelling at my reader “that’s because you fucking won’t give Jimmy half a chance, twit!” It’s Adam’s action in the end that truly made me feel sorry for Jimmy and think of Adam as an arrogant little so-and-so who doesn’t deserve such a softly spoken man as Jimmy.

But then I wonder if perhaps Jimmy is just too whiny? I don’t know. In my mind, Jimmy is a gentle giant and Adam is taking advantage of that. Before the ending, I really liked Adam’s strength but it makes me wonder if he is too strong.
In fact, it is because of Adam’s actions in the final fifty or so pages I am pulling the rating from four to three hearts.

Still, I have to admit, it was a good ending and Adam managed to redeem partially himself in my eyes. This story is great because it sparked my passion and my ire and mostly in equal measure, it even upset me at a couple of points, too.

Enter Rain, a sexy bad boy who has a taste for the lash and pretty young things, like Benny. What’s a man to do when the two men he lusts after are determined that even a hook-up is not in the cards?

Why, orchestrate one single night of pleasure, of course.

But when the whip comes down, and one night isn’t enough, its love, not leather, that’s bound to please.

REVIEW: First off, I have to say, as this is book 2 in the Playing for Keeps series, I am pleased to see Jimmy and Adam pop up. And after all the ire I experienced reading their story, it’s good to see that they’re less on the drama queen side of things and they actually seem like a nice couple now. Jimmy is as introverted as ever, but Adam has stopped pushing him away. Big smiles for that! At one point Jimmy really came into his own when helping Benny, again loving that. Now, back to the real story…

The story starts in the midst of a scene in the BDSM club. Jason is the Dom that is directing the scene. Benny seems like he can switch easily between Dom and Sub, but at this point he is Jason’s assistant, he’s not actually into the lifestyle at all. To actually do a scene with Jason, Benny is probably eager to become be anything. Rain (just Rain) is a bit of a mysterious figure to Benny.

At first, Benny appears jealous because Jason is giving Rain the attention Benny wants, but at the same time, Benny is also attracted to Rain. I feel intensely sorry for Benny when he walks in on Adam and Rain together. Add into this, Jason starts feeling jealous when a friend of his makes it clear that he would be Benny’s Master…in heartbeat.

This story is well and truly set in the BDSM life style. The plot is simple. It’s mostly filled with Jason believing that he could never Benny, but he certainly likes being with Rain and he even enjoyed (very much) watching Benny and Rain together. It’s pretty clear, he’s either a complicated guy, or he just likes to make things more complicated than they are. He is certainly territorial when it comes to Benny, which should be a big hint to him that he can’t be just Benny’s boss and Benny’s friend.

But Rain has a plan to help, and, on top of all that, he’s a spitfire. So it’s probably good that he eager to bring Benny and Jason together while having a bit of fun. At the same time, Rain is confusing.

The first book of this series was good, but this book is brilliant. The story line is also a lot more solid compared to Phoenix Rising. Most of the sex is BDSM, so if that’s not your thing only the storyline will keep you entertained. But for the most part the BDSM isn’t too bad. There is also some of what can be best described as porn-like exhibitionism, but even that isn’t too bad.

Over all, the sex in this book is hot. There are multiple partners, sure, but there is not actual cheating going on because it’s difficult to define the terms of the relationship. Rain certainly doesn’t see himself as part of relationship and Jason is just easing into the idea of being in a relationship though he has some very definite (very good) ideas of what a relationship entails.

The reader, like Rain himself, will be confused about his role and position in the life and relationship that is forming between Jason and Benny. But it really adds to the tension and confusion that the characters feel. He clearly likes Benny and Jason but he also just like sex and hooking up in general, so it makes his position even more uncertain.

At one point Rain was being a bit of a dick, or the guys he was hanging around were also dicks, so much so, I wanted to hug poor Benny and give Jason a kick in the pants to actually work out what is going on between him and the two subs. For goodness sake, he is the Dom! The latter also sums of some of my thoughts throughout the second half of the story.

I think this quote from Adam sums up my love-hate confusion about Rain: “…Rain is just a player. Not in a bad way, he just is…”

BLURB: When Daniel Wilson, the oldest of five children in a troubled family, joined the military, he expected to see combat in Iraq. But it comes as quite a shock when a Rupee minted a century and a half ago transports him to that dangerous time in war-torn colonial India. After he meets and falls in love with Vir during his visits to 1857, he faces the greatest challenge of his life. He knows he may ultimately lose Vir because he belongs in a different time. Still, he wants desperately to keep his love alive despite threats of violence from both wars.

REVIEW: Oh. My. God. Let’s take a moment while I try not to desperately gush about how much I love this book and how generally awesome it is… Okay, reviewer partially composed, we might be able to get to the fact, now.

Daniel, Danny to his friends and closest siblings, has come from a troubled family. His mother has had some issues and his father recently lost his job and turned to drinking. This has left Daniel as the primary source of income to the household in order to support his four younger siblings. Tragedy strikes the family on the day of the London bombings in 2005, which leads to a (seemingly) permanent schism between siblings, with Danny and Peter, the oldest of his four siblings, to move away to London from the family home.

Danny doesn’t see himself as clever, but will do anything to support his younger brother who has a university and a bright future ahead of him. This leads Danny to join the armed forces. In basic training, he meets a group of men who later become his friends before they are shipped out to Iraq for their first tour of Duty. It’s not until they are in Iraq that Danny finds the coin that can transport him back to 1857 India where he finds himself to be a Red Coat (British army officer).

In the events that have happened, Danny has never truly had the chance to realise his sexuality and it is through meeting Vir in the past that he realises he’s gay. Between his travels to the past, supporting Peter and other dramas with his siblings, as well as keeping himself alive in the army, Danny has a lot to think about and a lot of people depending on him.The ending is so sweet and brilliant, so don’t be surprised if you get tears in your eyes!

As I’ve already said, I absolutely love this book. What initially drew me to it was that it was a military based story and it was a time travel story. The other thing was when I looked up Michelle Rae I discovered that she is from my hometown/city and it’s not very often I come across authors from little old Adelaide who write my kind of book.

I love time travel stories, however, they have to be done right or else it turns out corny or completely stupid. For example, when people travel back from twentieth century to ninth century Wales and are fluent in ancient Welsh. Okay, clearly, I have a bone to pick with that particular example, but I hope you understand my point. In saying that, too, it is impossible to precisely say what is right and wrong in terms of time travel stories, some authors get them others do not.

Truthfully, when I was reading I had concerns that it might be like the TV show Life on Mars (UK version) where the character was actually in a sort of purgatory when he was in the past. None of that matters because this story handles all aspects of time travel perfectly! An object being the method of transport is interesting but it is the twist that comes at the end that is genius.

The love story between Danny and Vir is very subtle and very beautiful. Until the end of the story, it comes to me as more of Danny’s coming out to his friends and family, than it is a love story between him and Vir. The last couple of chapters are when the love story comes in full force, so no one can be disappointed by that. We also learn about entire Vir’s story, which is entirely separate to Danny’s but he is just as interesting.

I really have only one big question from the entire book that has been bugging me, but I can’t ask it here without giving away the ending! For me it’s one of those stories that have been plaguing me, in a totally good way, in the days since I finished reading. For now, though, I really need to stop my adoration for the book. I’m certainly looking forward to any future works by Michelle Rae!

Blurb: Love is a give and take, whether shared by two men or three.

Professors Adam Ryan and Manuel Corto Delgado believed they had the perfect life, but everything changed the day Rusty walked into Adam’s classroom and sat in the front row. Four years later, Adam and Manuel still want Rusty, but it wasn’t until Rusty fell victim to an attack that they decided to do something about it.

Inviting Rusty into their bed and lives turned out to be the easy part, but when Rusty reveals a secret, they discover the challenge will be keeping him there.

Review: This is actually book 19 in the series, but it was my first. I followed just fine and thoroughly enjoyed the book. There was enough back-story that I felt I knew what was going on, I will say some of the characters teased me enough to make me want to go read the rest.

Rusty has recently found out his parents were killed in an accident. He has a crush on Professor Ryan, but has heard rumours he was involved with Professor Delgado. A trip to a gay bar with his roommate Chase he sees for himself that the rumours are true. He is attacked leaving the bar and finds himself in the arms of non-other than Professor Delgado. He awakens to a noise and sees both professors having sex.

Professor Ryan has wanted Rusty for four years ever since he first walked into his science class. He loves Professor Delgado but they have discussed adding Rusty into their lives. They know it won’t be easy but agree it could be worth it.

I loved this book for many reasons. First of all the characters were all intriguing. Every last one. I want to read the other books to see more of them all. Next is the story line, it’s interesting and there was a lot of tension to make you want to read more. It flows well even though it’s part of a series with lots of books before it and the backstory doesn’t overwhelm you. I loved it. Let’s not forget the hot man-sex.

I find some ménage stories a bit dull as they focus on one person and seem so perfect. This was a very good ménage. Though it focuses on bringing Rusty in it wasn’t all smooth sailing. There is a bit of jealousy and doubt.

If you like hot Professors, stories with a little drama and a twist, and a sexy ménage this is for you.

Review: The writing style still feels rushed, but the plotline is so intriguing that I didn’t find it as distracting as I had in Artificial Moonlight. Some people don’t care for stories written from alternating point of views. However, I’m not one of them. It’s clearly marked who is telling the chapter so I am okay with the changing POVs, but as I said, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

Colby continues his search to hopefully find his little sister or at the very least find out what happened to her. We also get to meet Colby’s mother, Evangaline, and even though I don’t do spoilers, I will say she is no picnic. Let’s just say Colby escaped a close one there when she left him with his father. Not that, Cledus was much of a win for Colby either. Diego is faced with a position that he never wanted but was most likely a long time coming.

Before the last page, Colby, in his heart, knows that his search for Garnet Beauty is not going to be the happy ending he’s been holding out hope for.

Review: This is book two in this series and they need to be read in order. It focuses on a new romancing couple however the story of the fight starts with book one.

This is an amazing story and I was fascinated by it. It makes me sad what Si and his brother Elijah had gone through because of their omega status. Also, what their mates went through also. Elijah is mated to an alpha, Rowan. They are trying to fight the butcher a human that was as evil as one could get. Si thought that Elijah was dead, that is until the phone call.

Si was to kill Zev, had intended to kill him that is until he watched him. He would stare at him while he was a sleep and wanted to take care of him when he had a nightmare. There was just something to the man. Things get dicey and Si takes off. He didn’t remember his childhood, but there were some things that couldn’t be undone. He was an assassin after all.

Zev was an alpha wolf and soldier who had been dishonorably discharged from the military after an op went badly. He was then kicked out of the pack, even though he was the alpha. The problem was he left a wife and children behind. And then to take shelter with a friend of his, he finds himself face to face with the man who was sent to kill him.

Small world for sure. For when Elijah calls Si in for help, Zev calls Rowan for help. They plan to meet up. Talk about surprise when Si realizes that Zev was going to help them fight the same man who had put the contract out on Zev. Not to mention the fact that they are mates. Things could get a bit dicey and they wonder if they could make it work without more bloodshed than needed.

This is an amazing story that I can’t wait to read the next story. I absolutely fell in love with these four crazy men. Their past stories will bring you to tears, while the fact that at first they are trying to kill each other will have you laughing you ass off the rest. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end.

I would recommend reading this story especially if you love quirky and feisty omegas, strong alphas, lots of danger, lots of murder, excitement, twist and turns, action and hot sex. This gave me everything I could want in a story.

Leo was getting ready to leave when a doctor called him with a favor. Would he give a man a physical for employment. What he had not expected was Christopher. A hot man with a lot of potential.

This was exactly that hot and spicy. Now if I could find a man to give me my physical that would get this hot then I would be in heaven. I think that this story would have been a great story if it had more depth and detail in it, but for a very short story. It was cute and turned me on faster than I could say.

Craig and Matt had been a part for over two weeks. Matt was at home with his sister missing his lover who had been away on business. Missing him so bad that he was in the bathroom staring at the mirror. Now when he opens the door he is in for a big surprise.

This story was not only tender, cute but also so damn hot that I felt the flames all the way over here. Although getting it on is one major turn-on I am not too sure about doing the nasty deed in the bathroom of your sister’s house with the whole family around. I got a big laugh out of this whole story. I love the way his sister gives him hell. And I loved Craig’s romantic ways. It was a tender story that caught my heart and made it beat hard.

Adrian and Thom worked at the same place always teasing each other with innuendos and some hot discussions, but never making a move. That is until Thom shows up where Adrian swims wearing a very telling pair of shorts.

This was a very hot story about two guys who liked each other but had never done anything about it before. It just about over heated the living room. I loved it but for me it was just a little too much. I want a story with more depth and more of a plot. Now if it was written to be a longer story with a bit more about these two hot men I would be in love.

David and Trick had known each other at school. However now separated by several miles and a new school. Trick had told him he could call if needed. David was gay and Trick was not. Or was he, David had wondered a bit. However, with all the stress he really needed to talk to someone. Trick however was continuing to surprise him.

This was a cute little story but didn’t really do much for me. David is gay and Trick is straight however, it made me wonder about him a bit. I would like to see them get together in a longer story because the hint of them together is hot. I was quite surprised by it though.

Jake had wanted Cal from the moment he saw him but never made a move. For one he worked for Cal and Cal wouldn’t do a thing with anyone he worked for. However, when his time with him was up that man was for grabs.

I loved the light BDSM that this story seemed to have. I mean spanking is so much of a turn on and that the man wanted Cal to do it was hot. I loved this story just a bit more than most although it would be better if it were longer with these two having their own story. It gave me almost everything I could ask for.

Farmer in the Dell by Rob Rosen ♥♥♥3Hearts
Byron had been dealing with his garden butt naked and Stu was turned on. Talk about a fantasy come true. Stu just happened to be walking through the fields naked also. When these two get together, it is just plain explosive.

This one was a bit bizarre to me. I mean who just walks outside or tends to a garden naked. Well I for one would love to see it. It was a blast to read and I had wished for a bit more. However, for a quick read on a cold night who would need a heater with these two. It was a nice story to get into.

What I’ve Been Missing by John Amory ♥♥♥2.5Hearts
Jason and Stephen had been roommates since college. They had told each other that they were gay and things were going great. Till Jason told Stephen that, he was a virgin and Stephen said that couldn’t do. Then they had a night of hot sex and Stephen wouldn’t talk to him for a month after. Now Jason has to write an erotic romance that includes chocolate and Stephen takes it in hand and says he will help him with the research. Things heat up and not in an oven.

This was not one of my better choices to read. The scene was hot and very tempting but the ending sucked. It looked like to me Stephen wanted a bit more than he got. It was a cute story, don’t get me wrong, but it was just missing parts for me to truly like. It felt more like being used even though they both agreed. Maybe if it would turn into something real it would make for a better story for me.

For What It’s Worth by Rhidian Brenig Jones ♥♥2Hearts
Rob had been dating women, but knew that there was something missing. So when his girlfriend asks him to kiss his friend, he knew was he was way more into man. The problem was he had never been with one so while in London he hires a man to show him what it is like to be with one.

This was definitely a different type of story. I did not care for it to much. It was just not my type of story at all. I love romance but this one was just a sexual story and I couldn’t get into it at all.

Sparks by A. Morell ♥♥♥♥4Hearts
Ryo and Mark did not like each other at all. Ryo was just helping his friend by hanging with his dates brother and Mark was doing the same. Things were heating up at the restaurant and it should have ended there however as Mark walked the pain in the ass home he started noticing things. Then things really heated up after that.

This was a cute story that actually had me wishing for more. I loved it and hope that this will turn in to their own story. I can’t wait to check this author out. If the other books start out like this then they will be awesome reads
Hunting by Nikki West ♥♥♥♥4Hearts
Abram and Ethan are wolves with a bit of kink. Each month they come up with a hunt and find game. That always ends up with hot, passionate sex.

They are hot and sensual and it turns out very kinky. I love the paranormal world and this one was a blast to read. I wished for it to be longer and I can’t wait to check out the rest of Nikki’s books. I could see myself reading this more than once.

River Gods by Heloise West ♥♥♥3Hearts
Beltramino was a sculptor and Marco was what Bel considered a fallen angel. However, Marco was a soldier betrayed by his brother and now on the run. Bel takes him in and cares for him. Then things really heat up.

I wasn’t too sure at first that I would like this story at all. The way that it is set up was a downer for me, however it turned out that it was a good story that I enjoyed. I can’t wait to read more by this author.

Heat Wave by Olivia Duncan Craig ♥♥♥3Hearts
Kyle and Joey had been together for a while. Things were a bit boring it would seem. Because Kyle went into take shower and then when Joey walks in it is to a show. Kyle just wanted some heat to his day.

This was a bit hot but seemed a bit boring. Although the sexual part was majorly, hot. The story needed more depth for me to truly get into it. I want a story that has a plot to it, not two boyfriends trying to heat up the lives. However, I did have a blast reading it. These two guys were hot and very tempting. I loved that part of the story.

Never Kiss by Rick Bettencourt ♥♥♥2.5Hearts
Tony loves straight men and pays them to do things. His video tapes it and then they get paid. All things were going good other than getting the rent paid. That all ended when he met Dirk. Dirk was a straight man with a girl friend and had a great paying job. That is until Tony and he get it on.

It was so hot. However, it was also kind of sleazy. I wasn’t too sure why but I did like it, maybe because it had a great ending. Tony had never kissed because it meant more, yet with Dirk, he couldn’t wait for that kiss. It was a cute little story and I wouldn’t mind checking out the rest of Rick’s books.

Lucky XIII by J. I. Radke ♥♥♥3Hearts
Riley was a phone sex operator but there was one guy that called in that made him so hot. He loved talking to him. It didn’t change when he meets up with him accidently. Then when Mason calls him, it’s to turn the tables.

This was a better story then I thought it would be. These two men really were into each other and it just takes a bit of fate to make it come true. I was fascinated by it and I had a blast reading it. It actually seemed more likely to happen then many others. I can’t wait to read more about these two sexy men, so I hope there will be a story just about them.

Voyeur-something by Briana Lawrence ♥♥♥♥3.5Hearts
Jayson doesn’t mean to stare but he really is into voyeurism. It wasn’t his fault that two sexy men moved in next door and they had their window open for him to watch. Rhain and Micah it would seem noticed him watching. Talk about a heart attack and a turn on.
This was a cute and very hot story. Especially when things get heated up. I loved this story and can’t wait to read more from this author. It was a major blast to read it.

Sandman and the Cookie by Dawn Kimberly Johnson ♥♥♥♥♥5Hearts
Cookie was missing his man something hard. His man Sandy was on a mission or that was what he thought. During a call, which was surprising his man was talking him into phone sex, and then there was noise in the apartment. His man had really come home to surprise him.

I really do love this story and I hope that this is not the only one of these two sexy men. I hope that there was a beginning story to this because it was written just the way I love it. I love a man in uniform and this one had that. I loved it and can’t wait to read more by Dawn.

Strangers on the Northeast Regional by Pearl Love ♥♥♥♥♥5Hearts
Reggie and Charles want a hot anniversary sexual encounter. So Reggie picks two strangers on a Train, which is hot.

This was a cute little story and I had a blast with it. At first, I really thought they were strangers both going on blind dates set up for them, but then this beautiful twist was added in and I couldn’t believe it. I loved it and can’t wait to check out the rest of Pearl’s books.

Not Water Resistant by J.J. Cassidy ♥♥♥♥♥5Hearts
Neil, Curt, Sal, and Barry all work for the same people. Neil had been dumped by his ex and as he was working out, he was cussing him up a storm. He did think that there had to be something more. So after working out he decides to go ahead and take a shower there before going home. What he finds instead is Curt, Sal and Barry butt naked and waiting on him.

Now this is my type of story. Four sexy men getting it on in the shower. That is hot and very tempting. I can’t wait to check out the rest of J.J.’s stories. I also hope that Sal and Neil get their own story because I would definitely be getting it. The four of them heated up more than just the shower. It was a blast to read.

This anthology took me a bit longer to actually get into reading it. I wasn’t too sure when I got it what it would really be like. However, there were some awesome stories that I absolutely found was a blast to read. I would recommend reading this if you love hot men, kinky sex, twist and turns and lots of surprises. Once I started reading it though I couldn’t take my eyes off of it.

Review: This is book two in this series and they need to be read in order.

This story was fascinating and I absolutely had a blast reading it. It is told with a serious tone mixed with sadness and loss. It has so much feeling in it that I felt it all the way to my bones. What the loss of twins is hard to overcome yet they know they must continue if they want to survive the upcoming war.

Merin and Rin have danger all around them, yet they are bound to keep each other pregnant. Rin was pregnant with twins. That is, until someone tries to assassinate him. Their twins didn’t make it and Merin almost looses Rin to his pain. There is a war heading their way, yet Merin needs his mate more than anything. There is so much love between these two men that it will make you heart swell with it.

They were fighting with Rin’s people and then another group decides to start up with them. Except they were in more danger now than ever. Rin knew the only way to keep their world safe is for him to have the next airs. Merin however was terrified of losing any more children and of losing his mate. His mate is more important than anyone in their lives.

This was a fascinating story and I loved it. I can’t wait to read more about these two men. You can tell the love that went into this story. It was written beautifully and with so much heart. It caught my attention from the moment I started reading and kept it all the way to the end.

It also gave me everything I could possibly want in it. It gave me sexy men, passion and fire, feisty prince and a stubborn king, male pregnancy, excitement, adventure, action and lots of danger.

I would recommend reading this especially if you love all that and much more.

All Caleb Kline wants to do is retire from being a hunter. He feels like a failure and just wants to live a normal life away from all things shifter-related, but before he can call it quits, he’s asked to go on one last mission. To escort a wolf shifter back home safely. It should be easy enough, or so Caleb thought.

Discovering that Caleb is his mate is more than a little unexpected for Seth, but the attraction is undeniable. Seth now has to decide if he can give up his life of solitude to build a future with the man of his dreams or let his fears keep him from living his own happy ever after.

Review: Seth is used to being on his own. He liked it that way. When he gets into trouble, he gets to the pack. After hearing about the attack, the headhunter decides to send Seth back to his cabin with Caleb in case there are problems. Only as soon as Seth meets Caleb he realizes he now has a mate. So the loner Seth now needs to figure out what he is going to do and how to make this work.

Caleb joined the hunters not to kill, but to save shifters. His stepmother was a wolf killed by hunters and he did what he could to help shifters. He still feels guilty for accidentally killing an innocent wolf. So he had taken a break from being a hunter and became a local cop. He was asked by the hunters to take Seth back to his cabin and help him out. Immediately they are attracted to each other, but it’s not until Seth confirms they are mates that the pieces fall into place.

The two have mated when a couple of small issues pop up. Two young cougar shifters have been located on Seth’s property. They are all that is left of a pack that was killed by hunters. So one wolf, one human, and two cougars, are about to make up the cutest family ever. I loved how all four just formed this awesome little family unit. It’s not all easy and there are some bumps, but they make it work.

This was my favorite so far of the series. It just pulled the heartstrings a little more. The two MCs and the two little boys just made this book awesome. All four have dealt lost love ones and they are able to form their own family and support system.
