Review: This book was about how Jim, a pixie fey, and Dominique, a wolf shifter, met when he needed a private investigator to find his missing twin Tim. Really interesting that Dominique didn’t know he was a shifter. Plus we finally find out who Jason’s father is.

Intense scenes. A lot of drama and two paranormals who are hot for each other. It was interesting so many different paranormals were in the same territory and answered to Jason once he discovered he was a very powerful paranormal with a god as a father. He has powers that no one else has.

Loved this story, but there are errors throughout. But, not as many as in the first book.

Blurb: Sean, a single California Interior designer sets his sights on going home after a short business trip on the island of Kauai. On his way back to the States, Sean’s world literally spirals out of control when the flight he’s on takes a course he hadn’t expected and into the masculine arms of Kale, a drop dead handsome pilot with attitude, spontaneous charm, and a hint of recklessness.

While stuck on a deserted island off the coast of Maui, they discover there are situations worse than the one they’re in. Initially all they have in common are their aversions for each other and their eagerness to survive. When they realize all they have is each other, Sean and Kale set their differences aside, learn to cope with their seemingly tragic situation and find common ground. After a string of mishaps and clashing personalities, their time together proves far from foolproof when they surprisingly get swept into a whirlwind romance.

The early stages of their engagement involve increasingly desperate measures to conceal their growing affection for each other and by the time Kale confesses his desires, Sean is obsessed. With hormones on both sides roiling and reality setting in, their need to explore each other grows.
Can Kale hide his interest in the man he finds ideal until Sean is ready? Or will Sean’s hysterical dramatic disposition send him packing? Crashing into Love is a romantic comedy about a quirky courtship, clashing personalities, love, and a developing relationship that turns profound – but not necessarily in that order!

Kale and Sean are pitch-perfect in this comical romance of unintentional companionship.

Review: This is a bit of fun, which plays on some people’s very real fears of air travel. Nevertheless, it is enjoyable to see our stubborn MCs navigate their way out of trouble while desperately trying not to reveal any form of affection or attraction, at least at first.

The chemistry between Kale and Sean is explosive. It was very sexy and I loved it. Sean is from California and is on a holiday in Hawaii. However, he has some serious anxiety issues that basically bring out the drama queen in him. Kale is the complete opposite, is very easy-going. He’s a native to the area and loves flying his small passenger plane.

It’s just a fun story with parts making me laugh – particularly at the drama queen, Sean. It’s not complicated and no sticky plot point.

Just a comment, with me being a bit picky, I feel that the blurb is far too long for something that is short and less contrived than it really seems.

Blurb: After losing his mate, lion shifter Jake Jensen has no intention of taking another. With three children, his pride, and a business to run, his life is full enough. There’s only one problem, Jake is convinced that their mating can only ever be one purely of convenience.

Review: This is part of The Happily Ever After Mating Agency series and I would suggest reading them in order. Although it can be read as a standalone. It was a pretty good story but was missing something important to me.

Not too much though, because I was fascinated by the story. Jordan had given up his dreams when his parents were killed. He was best friends with his sister, so when his parents were killed he gave it all up to support his sister and her unborn baby. They lived with their uncle in a one bedroom and thanks to his uncle found himself at a mating agency. Talk about strange things to do.

Jake had lost his mate a couple of years prior when his son was born. Now two years later, his mother was telling him that he needs a mate. An alpha needs an alpha mate to make the pride happy. His mate had been a woman, so his choice was to have a male mate. Someone that would never remind him of his wife and someone he would not love. That sure does come to bite him in the ass. For he finds himself deeply in love with a man who has changed his family’s life.

It is a pretty cool story, one that I had a blast reading. Although it seems a bit off, that could be the actually mating site itself. I can’t see how one can mate with strangers from a mating site, but it seemed to work for Jordan and Jake. You would not see a happier family then them. I had a blast reading it and look forward to reading the next book.

I would definitely recommend this story. You get sexy alpha lion, a gorgeous little fox, cute children, a bit of pain, excitement, suspense and some hot sex.

Review: When Steve, a shapeshifting bounty hunter, meets his ex lover Herman, a human, again it’s to take him into custody for murder. Upon talking to him, he realizes he’s innocent and sets out to find the real killer. This book was amazing to read. I loved the details that came out about the werewolves that were involved.

The fight scenes were brutal and fierce. I loved the chemistry between Steve and Herman, as they seemed very passionate and loving for each other. Was very glad they ended up together. A lot of different things happen in this book, which made it more enjoyable to read than just looking for a killer. Well written this book grabs your attention from the beginning and doesn’t let go until the very end.

Although I loved this story, I cannot in good conscience recommend this book as I feel that for only 82 pages that the $5.20 listed on the publisher’s site is a little steep to be paying for so short a book. The Site does not say how many pages the book actually is nor do I remember there being a word count on it either.

I’m sorry but I will not be recommending this book for others to buy. This author’s series will be continued via another publisher according to her website. I am looking forward to reading more in this series…

Blurb: Eden and Sean are together, but the situation is volatile. Eden is working through his trauma, and Sean is trying to be supportive, but he feels guilty and is walking on eggshells. The slightest thing could tear them apart permanently…

Eden Gray is still traumatized from his rape eighteen years earlier and the part Sean Keller played in it isn’t easy to forget. Eden can go from happy to desperate within minutes; he’s never sure how long a good mood will last. But one thing is sure: Eden loves Sean with all his heart and is looking for a way to lay his ghosts to rest permanently.

Review: May contain Spoilers from Into the Light if you haven’t read it yet. I normally don’t do a spoiler but couldn’t figure out how to review this story without it though I don’t give away much more than the blurb does. Finding Eden is a gripping and heartfelt story of two men with secrets in their past and a love-hate relationship that is to die for.

In finding Eden, we follow Sean and Eden after Eden’s trial for murder. We also find out that this relationship isn’t the happy ever after we had thought we got from Into the Light.

Eden still hasn’t adjusted well and after he killed, Paul is even more distraught. Sean is handling Eden the best he can with love and attention, but Eden’s mood swings are about more than even Sean can deal with. Sean even sometimes still worries that Eden hasn’t forgiven him.
If you like intriguing complicated characters you will love Eden and Sean.

Even after finding out Sean’s involvement in Eden’s rape eighteen years before I can’t help but just fall for Sean. Eden even after all he has been through I’d really like to slap the crap out of him. So does Eden finally heal? Do Sean and Eden finally make their relationship work?

Is Sean’s love for Eden worth giving up he is career and home? I am not telling. You will have to read the book. I promise you will want to read the first three too so might as well buy them all now. I do suggest you read Into the Light before you read this one.

I highly recommend this book for anyone that loves a very intense romantic love story, several twists and turns, really hot sex scenes, a little light BDSM, and men in uniform,

Blurb: By the King’s Command…

Diego de la Vega is quite pleased with the king’s command to mate the dragon leader, Xavier Rodriquez. The man’s strength and bravery in battle were legendary, as were the scars that marred his massive body. But there is a vast distance between admiration and love, and despite Diego’s efforts, he’s not sure the two of them can find a middle ground.

Xavier Rodriquez is a man used to the rigors of battle and being alone to lick his wounds. Experience has taught him that the scars littering his body would disgust even the most indiscriminate of lovers. When Diego says he sees them as symbols of valor, Xavier is skeptical, growing even more so when Diego’s gorgeous ex-lover appears, claiming to want Diego back.

Trust is not an easy thing and neither is accepting a mate with all their faults. Stubbornness and the need to protect their hearts might be more dangerous to their mating than the mysterious foe bent on stealing their territory, and maybe even their lives.

Reviewer: Shorty

Review: I loved this book. So intense that it made me wonder whether or not Xavier, a dragon shifter, and Diego, a human, were actually going to make it to the end of the story. Intense and fierce battle scenes with a dragon and humans.

It saddened me greatly that Diego lost their first child due to someone else poisoning Xavier and turning him into a rage-filled dragon that attacked anyone in his way. The only thing I didn’t like was they never found out who exactly Paolo or the brown dragon was so I felt the story was incomplete. There were a few spelling errors as well.

All in all, it was a great read with some hot sex and an intense story line.

Review: Kimo and Lopaka family are spending Christmas in Scotland. They are learning about some the Scottish traditions. Earl is a character, he likes to dress and be jolly year round like Santa Clause. Earl has his traditions and superstitious about things if not done right.

They have seemed to inherit a dog that follows Pele around everywhere. Raul and his wife are a hoot. We see the children and what problems they can find. They entire can make you laugh at time. Kimo tries all that he can to make sure to have some a long time with his husband for some hot sexy scenes.

This was awesome book to read, that mad you smile and laugh at time.

Review: As a fantasy diehard fan this had quite a few of my pleasure points in it. Both of the Main Characters are elven princes at the beginning of the book. Adrian awakes to his family’s castle being invaded. Adrian is the youngest of the four princes of Merish, and is a more scholarly and strategic thinker as opposed to a fighter. He is agile and feisty.

He is the last brother captured and leads the Kitarian army on quite a chase running through the palace and then escaping by climbing down the palace walls and fleeing to the woods where he takes to the trees for a hopeful escape. He is captured and taken to the General’s prince to become a slave and sexual pet.

Magnus is an Elven prince of better moral standard than the Kingdom he was born into, Kitar. The society is based on abuse and humiliation of slaves. While Magnus doesn’t mind owning slaves, he is turned off by the public abuse and humiliation they are forced to endure. He is considered a failure by his father no matter how successful his raids and wars is. Magnus is often overlooked and slighted because he is not favored by his Father, the King.

Marcus tries to gently get Adrian a virgin comfortable with his new status as a slave. Marcus and his general, Arais are the two beacons of sanity and taste in Kitar. Interestingly enough the only two people in the Kingdom that Adrian feel comfortable with.

Merish and Kitar are two vastly different societies, best exemplified by how they treat their animals. Kitar, houses horses in stables and break them and feel a horse with spirit is dangerous. The Merish people let the horse go back to the wilderness when they do not need them and have to go looking for steeds (which are not limited to horses) when they are needed. Adrian is probably the best person with the animals. He can even jump from the back of one animal to another when they are running.

Magnus wants to escape Kitar and sees the conquering of Merish as his chance to strike out on his own. After Magnus’s youngest brother comes back from a raid on the plains, where he is hailed by his father as a conquering hero. Magnus decides it is time to get out of Kitar and makes escape to Merish where by using Adrian as a hostage get Adrian’s brothers and the general of the Merish army to work with him and train his army for what Magnus expect to be an invasion by his former country.

When the invasion comes the two armies in Merish have started becoming cohesive and handily rout the enemy forces led by Magnus’s youngest brother.

The most angst in the book is caused by Adrian Love for Magnus and his thinking there must be something wrong with him for liking the sexual activities Magnus compels him to do.

Review: Casey and Mike make a connection in a hot Chicago club. Mike is in town for the night only before he heads home to Tennessee. They set up to meet in Mike’s hotel room for a night of hot sex after Casey’s shift is over. On his way to the hotel Casey gets a call from his mother letting him know his older brother has been killed in an accident.

Even months later Casey still remembers Mike and his hotel room number that he never got to. He has moved to Tennessee to finish his brother’s house renovations. But he is low on funds and looks for a job at a local bar. There he finds Mike again, the man he cannot forget. A very pissed off Mike, who also did not forget Casey. It takes some fast talking on Casey’s part to get back into Mike’s good graces.

This story may be low on actual sexual content, but high in sexual tension. It told of two men getting a second chance with each other and on their lives and dreams. The story seems to end on a happy for now type ending. But they are both prepared to move forward on starting a relationship with each other.

This was a fast paced well written short. I liked that it was not immediately jump into bed and be instantly in love with each other. The ending leaves the reader with the ability to imagine whatever they want.

Review: This was a cute and tender story that draws you in. I loved the way the characters just mixed with each other. I really liked the story but for me it was way too detailed for such a short story. I can see all this detail in a longer novel but for such a short story it was a bit too much for my taste. However it doesn’t stop from keeping your attention. I loved the way Maggie took care of Robbie and Jason in the end. I also loved the little twists that this story seemed to have.

Robbie had been a bit lost in the beginning, but Maggie had taken him under her wing. When she passed and left him a home he was a bit shocked. For they were not related other than by friendship. Then Jason shows up for pretty much the same reason, although he had never really known Maggie. It would seem Maggie had done a bit of matchmaking from the grave.

It is a really cute story but a bit of a sad one at that. Although the love that was found between them is sparked, it is just a bit depressed with the loss of a wonderful woman. RJ is an amazing author with and a wonderful gift at telling you a story. I would recommend reading it. Especially perfect for when you need a break from the harshness of life.
