Blurb: Langley Gairdner is an attorney for the prestigious firm, Blackmore’s, disillusioned with his work trying to help criminals. Vidal Brookes aims to be extremely rich but he has a heart attack at age thirty. They’re both stuck at Two Waters beach, and bored. Playing golf fills an hour or two but nothing eases Vidal’s bitterness about his health and his grumpiness about everything in general, including the beard Lang has decided to grow, and his very long hair.

Sheer boredom propels them into each other’s company. Lang begins to see the ascerbic wit under Vidal’s complaining exterior, and Vidal appreciates Lang’s serenity about things that can’t be changed. Except his hair and beard. Vidal’s determined Lang will visit a barber as soon as he can arrange it.

As they spend time together, the next step, into bed, is inevitable. But will there ever be real understanding and genuine friendship between them? Lang will return to work soon and Vidal’s determined to do the same.

Review: This is a very cute and hot little story. It is told in such a way that you get a lot of story in a small dynamic story. This story has a lot of potentials but I do wish that it had been expanded. It tells about their past a bit and how they ended up in a small town. They meet and hook up, and then they are talking about moving in and so on. It moves way to fast to make the story perfect. There needs to be something there that keeps your attention other than sex.

Lang is a defense lawyer who hates his job. He tries to get the little ass off, and ends up with a hit put on him by some idiots. Suggested on taking a vacation, he heads off to Two Waters beach to enjoy his time away. He comes across Vidal. And wants him with every part of his body. Vidal is a cranky, stubborn ass who had a heart attack. The doctor tells him to get away and heal. It also meant exercise time. He meets Lang and finds out that exercising is not so bad as long as it involves some hot sex.

I don’t know what to actually say without giving the story away. I did enjoy it but it is missing something to make it the perfect story. I would have loved for it to be expanded and give the guys a little bit of time before things heat up. Like I said it is a cute little story that will get your heart beating fast and your breath catching. I enjoyed reading it, but wished that it had more to it.
